Our story began at the University of Montevallo—even though our paths didn’t cross in the classroom. She was already living on campus, fully immersed in college life, while I was commuting in and out each day. Somehow, we never shared a single class, but the right connections found us anyway.

Through mutual friends, our worlds started to overlap. What began as brief moments in shared spaces slowly turned into something more. Then came a group trip to Six Flags—the kind of day that seems small at the time but ends up meaning everything.

Somewhere between the rides and the laughs, we really started talking. That conversation sparked a genuine friendship—one that felt easy, natural, and meant to be.

Life eventually pulled us in different directions, and we each focused on growing—individually and professionally. But no matter where life took us, we never lost touch. We remained close, supporting each other through the highs and the lows, always showing up when it mattered most.

Over time, that strong foundation of friendship became something deeper. What we had was real—and it was worth building on. So we got serious, choosing to grow together the same way we had grown on our own.

That friendship turned into a love that changed our lives.
